Our black golden tea is grown and harvested by Nepal’s first cooperative tea operation and is completely run by pickers and processors. This means that the profits earned go directly to the workers and their community.

Nepalese black golden tea has a light, natural chocolate flavor, and honeyed sweetness. It brews incredibly smooth and will not easily become bitter like many black teas. Beautifully long and twisting leaves can be steeped 2-3 times per cup, and the addition of honey or milk will turn it into an even sweeter treat.

Aroma and Flavor
A naturally sweet aroma with a distinctly smooth, chocolaty flavor. This tea is pleasant when brewed hot or cold.

Instructions on Usage
Fill 1 teaspoon of tea in a cloth tea bag or mesh basket and place it in your favorite mug. Pour 8 ounces of boiling water over the tea and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. Experiment with steep time and quantity of tea and find your ideal cup!
